Tiger General

Tiger General

Tiger General is the deity in charge of animal spirits as well as of the elimination of communicable subtropical diseases. When the deities are at the temple, it plays a role of guard; when the deities go out of the temple, it plays a vanguard role. It is enshrined below the main deities, so it is also called Lower Altar General.
Two deity statues of Tiger Generals are enshrined here, one standing and the other sitting. Both statues are made of stone, with simple carved lines, looking lovely instead of scary.
